As the Originals store at Singapore’s Raffles Shopping Centre closes, Adidas unveils the opening of its newest Originals outlet located at the new Iluma mall, scheduled to open mid-July, at the heart of the Bugis district.

Boasting its new store concept and design, Adidas Originals’ celebrates the 60th anniversary of the iconic three stripes – “an emblem affirming the brand’s rich heritage and evolvement from a sportswear brand to a global contemporary lifestyle player.”

With off the chain design features, the Iluma Adidas store pushes for authenticity, creativity and individuality. Sections of the store are themed as Footwear Walls that expose the inner workings of the stockroom via distinctive adidas blue shoeboxes, with shoe cages that showcase exclusive editions on revolving turntable plates; Denim Display featuring the Adidas Originals and Diesel collab denim collection from free hanging bars; The Brand Wall and Basic Wall, which houses exclusive and seasonal ranges respectively, displays style boxes interspersed with everything Adidas Originals culture. From graphic-inspired toys by Kid Robot and Trexi, iconic art and design books, as well as collectable vintage cameras and radios, you get nothing but the Original.

Celebrating hip-hop and Originality, mid-July also marks the store’s collab collection with Def Jam Recordings. Fusioning streetwear culture and music, the collection introduces signature products from Def Jam’s biggest artists including RedMan, MethodMan, Ghostface Killah and Young Jeezy.
