Internet-less, TV-less, iPod-less, phone-less — we’ve all contemplated and dreaded that fate without technology. We live, after all, in the information age, but with SGC’s interpretation of the Transparent Generation, they show us how to do it in style.
What would you do when you’re young, gorgeous and stuck in a time-warped New York city hotel room? Lounge around in all your finery, of course. While you’re at it, writhe around on the floor and tear at your clothes and look back at the mirror with that smoldering stare and hot mess of a hair. That’s the story SGC paints for their spring/summer lookbook, and they’ve clad Taylor Warren in their latest duds and threw her in a retro house-arrest to best depict their Transparent Generation, a collection rife with leather, distressed and tie-dyed jean shorts, and a whole lot of sheer. Transparent, indeed. —DALLAS DEEPKISS
