1If you haven’t seen it already, you’re in for a fantastic fabulous fashion treat. Every year, I get a tingly feeling come December, and not just because of the holidays, but because of the annual spectacle that is the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. This year, the show aired on December 1 on CBS.

It’s a spectacular runway, though the program itself can be tedious to watch as most of it is devoted to their new Model Search segment. However, once the lights go up and the models start strutting, all eyes are on them.

The entire production is a visual feast—extravagant set, flashy lights, out-of-this-world garments, and, of course, the lovely ladies aptly called Angels.

There are a couple of different segments with individual themes. Each segment is typified by avant-garde styling that accompanies the lingerie, ranging from balloon wings to space age fixtures to sheer crystal-emblazoned trains. For some pieces, the inspiration is at once architectural and mechanized. Meanwhile, the final set emphasized the more feminine, more romantic appeal of the brand. The show was unique, but still kept its typical playful and electric charm.

As for the best part—the stunning, sultry, sumptuous supermodels that worked the runway… Well, let the pictures speak for themselves! -GIO DIONISIO
