Filipino rock band, Wolfgang, returns to their roots as they perform in Manila this coming Saturday, June 18, 2011 at the historic Metropolitan Theater. Co-presented by No Fear, Wolfgang at the Met, will be nothing short of amazing.


More known as the heavy metal slash grunge rock band Wolfgang, Basti Atardi (vocals), Mon Legaspi (bass), Manuel Legarda (lead guitar), and Francis Aquino (drums) will perform for their Filipino fans at the Metropolitan Theater this Saturday, June 18, 2011.

What you can expect from this concert is that no-holds-barred and take-no-prisoners brand of rock that Wolfgang is known for worldwide. They’ve “never been about doing the usual,” so they didn’t think twice when they decided to perform at the Metropolitan Theater.  The band wanted to call attention to Manila’s most scenic spots and felt that the Metropolitan Theater is just the perfect place to perform for their fellow countrymen—just in time for the celebration of the 440th year of “Araw ng Maynila (Manila Day).”

Besides, Wolfgang frontman, Basti Artadi admitted to having a soft spot for the ‘grande dame’ of our country’s structures that he thinks it’s about time that the rest of the Filipinos do too. Gang up on Wolfgang and see you on Metropolitan grounds, folks! -CECE
