Combine an experimental cross-genre media artist, an iconic alternative rock frontman, and today’s most celebrated graffiti artist, and you have “The Hollow Earth,” Thom Yorke‘s most recent single. Released just this week, Radiohead’s lead and principal songwriter joined forces with filmmaker Raymond Salvatore Harmon, and the quasi-anonymous English graffiti artist Banksy to complete this rather schizophrenic music video. An unexpected collaboration of equally innovative artists known for their audio, visual, and musical abstractions, “The Hollow Earth” proves itself worthy of multimedia praise.
